Holiday Shopping List

I am still in need of a nice dress for New Years Eve. I found this beautiful dress at ASOS and fell in love I just love the maxi style, however I would love this dress in a short version for NYE.

An elegant jumpsuit not only for business days... this one from ASOS is absolutely stunning and has the lovely open back... omg!!

This year I will put all the big fuzzy hats away and grap a fashionable headband. These are absolutely instyle this season.

After finally getting my beloved fur vest... and now that the cold is near I am in need of this faux fur coat at ASOS.

KBorgella Runway Show

After the casting and the fitting, finally the show was on. The KBorgella runway show took place at The New Art Gallery in Midtown. As I arrived, some of the models were already in hair and make up. It was very organized and all the crew members were really nice. I didn't eat that much during the day, so I was really happy about the snack, which was nicely prepared backstage. After 2 hours, everyone was eventually ready to rock the runway. The audience loved it and took many pictures of us on the red carpet. After getting undressed again, all the models became a goodie bag with some accessories and other things included. Some of the guests enjoyed a glass of wine and some snacks after the show and had a little dance. All in all, a very good show!!

Long is the new short!!

It's time to retire your micro-minis. Designers have gone long for both day and night, turning out demure yet dramatic skirts that skim the upper shins (Marc Jacobs at both his own label and Louis Vuitton), graze the ankles (Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren), or fall gracefully somewhere in between. The most comforting part of this story: The new lengths look smashing with easy-on-the-feet kitten heels and flat-soled boots.

Sky Highs

Knee Socks

Thigh-high boots were all over the runway last season, but the trend didn’t exactly catch on with the public. However, for fall, designers are still showcasing the lanky silhouette, but with cashmere socks and heels instead of boots.
For a much softer take on the over-the-knee boot trend, grab a pair of socks and try this trick to winterize last season’s mini-skirts.

Ready to go out!!

Heeled Combat Boots

We imagine that William Wallace never shouted this, but our rallying winter cry has always been "They may take our sunshine, but they'll never take... OUR HEELS!" And every season, it's the same search—a pair of heeled boots that we can navigate slippery sidewalks in without resorting to heavy clunkers. Heeled combat boots still rank among our must-have shoes for winter, especially when they're made in weather-proof materials, and a slim shape that won't make your hiking-sock-swathed feet look like meat cleavers. Here are our favorite heeled combat boots for women to suit every budget and taste.

I gotta get a pair asap!!

Fall Fashion Trends '10

Fashion trends change every season in order to bring out something new and innovative to the fashion industry, trends which will match the season as well, helping underline individuality, beauty and style in the most remarkable manner.

The luxurious
Luxurious fabrics and designs have always been in high demand due to the effect they help create. There are a variety of fabrics available today but vintage fabrics, which are also more expensive, more durable and more eye catching, are the ones that are popular this 2010 fall season. Leather and fur are in and the combinations created using these luxurious fabrics are amazing. Don't forget your over-the-knee boots and you're good to go!

Steal your boyfriends shorts!
Boyfriend jeans have made their way into closets the last few seasons and now their little cousin is making her way, too! Boyfriend shorts! Sure, short shorts are cool, but what’s even cooler (and easier on imperfect bodies) is the slightly slouchy and roomier boyfriend short.
Pair your boyfriend shorts with anything from a tank to a comfy button down—dress it up or dress it down. They’re super versatile! Check out some options:

H&M shorts; blouse; necklace and shoes Steve Madden.

Jump suits
Designers stick to some of the must have fashion pieces throughout various seasons. The Fall/Winter 2010 jumpsuit fashion trend is one of the style tendencies that is repeatedly elaborated as well as completed and upgraded with additional details as well as brand new tailoring techniques. Adding a stylish belt as well as softening the textures and letting some space to make these stylish fashion items both comfy and voguish all are some of the latest inventions in creating A-list jumpsuit designs.
If you are going for a champagne brunch at LAVO NYC a glamorous jumpsuit is perfect to wear. :)

Layers
Layers were a popular trend on the runway, appearing in seemingly every designer's show. While not necessarily a new trend, the standouts seemed to have an "everything but the kitchen sink" feel to them. Scarves were worn over jackets which were layered over vests on top of shirts... A seemingly mismatched pairing of pieces in an artful, yet uncalculated way. Try experimenting with your own wardrobe to create fresh ways to wear the pieces you've been wearing all season. Don't be afraid to mix prints and textures, and try wearing short pieces over longer pieces.
